Known as <a href=\"https:\/\/anywhereworks.com\/\">AnywhereWorks<\/a> in the UK and US, its range of tools includes Setmore, AnswerConnect, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/integrations\/lex-reception\">LEX Reception<\/a> and Chat Support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a global team based in areas including the US, India and the UK, FULL Creative regularly recruits engineers, product experts, account managers, marketers and sales executives. <strong>Kanagalakshmi Hariharasudhan<\/strong> works in FULL Creative\u2019s HR department in Chennai, India, focusing on recruitment and internships.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanagalakshmi moved to Chennai for college and has lived in the city since. <em>\u201cThis is the place where I learned how to be myself,\u201d<\/em> she said. <em>\u201cI actually realized that I became an adult only after moving to Chennai, so it&#8217;s very close to my heart.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2021\/04\/chennai-city.jpg\" alt=\"chennai city\" class=\"wp-image-6337\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously working in manufacturing, Kanagalakshmi made the switch to HR when joining FULL Creative 18 months ago. Her favorite aspects of her role center around interacting with new people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cA part of my job is actually meeting a lot of new people,\u201d<\/em> Kanagalakshmi said. <em>\u201cIt might be a cliche answer but I meet people who want to change their career. When I meet with these people, each of them have their own stories to tell, and their own aspiration, or what they want to become in their career.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She explained that listening to these stories helps her learn more about every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/blog\/creating-a-new-team\/\">new team<\/a> member. After onboarding, Kanagalakshmi and her team aim to uplift staff with new accomplishments &#8211; whether that\u2019s boosting interpersonal skills or completing additional training courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWhen someone really feels that I have helped them change something in their life, somewhere I have been a catalyst, that makes me feel good,\u201d<\/em> Kanagalakshmi enthuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2021\/04\/chennai-office.jpg\" alt=\"chennai office\" class=\"wp-image-6332\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Assisting organization and productivity&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanagalakshmi began using Setmore within FULL Creative to help <strong>keep her calendar in-check<\/strong> and <strong>monitor her productivity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI was able to organize my whole day in Setmore with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/features\/class-booking\"><em>classes<\/em><\/a><em>, events or group meetings,\u201d<\/em> she said. <em>\u201cI can go back and look at what I did on a specific day, with whom I met, or who booked the appointment with me.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe stats really helped me to understand what I&#8217;ve been doing, or how productive I was, or how many interviews I had.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internally, the HR department uses Setmore for organizational tasks including typing tests and learning meetings. Learning meetings present opportunities for employees to discuss articles, books, podcasts or documentaries of interest. During the pandemic, the team also set up digital games and yoga sessions to help maintain morale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2021\/04\/office-library.jpg\" alt=\"Office Library for Employees\" class=\"wp-image-6334\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sending interview booking links<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of internal meetings, Kanagalakshmi utilizes Setmore for the recruitment process. By setting up custom services on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/features\/booking-page\">Booking Page<\/a>, she is able to book and host video interviews easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rather than having candidates search through the full service list, Kanagalakshmi can <strong>send a direct link<\/strong> to pick a meeting time. Applicants only see time slots that are available and these can account for the schedules of multiple staff members involved in the interview process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe other useful thing that I found on Setmore was sending the service specific link to people, rather than sending my complete [Booking Page] URL,<\/em>\u201d she said. \u201c<em>When I started sending the service specific URL that made my job much easier.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2021\/04\/office-frontview.jpg\" alt=\"office frontview\" class=\"wp-image-6369\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Transitioning to virtual interviews<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the pandemic, recruitment for businesses around the world had to change. Optimizing a virtual meeting process became crucial, as interviews switched from in-person to online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FULL Creative\u2019s HR department could add <strong>video appointments<\/strong> to their services immediately, with Setmore\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/integrations\/zoom\">Zoom integrati<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.setmore.com\/integrations\/teleport\">on<\/a>. 1-click video links were automatically sent to candidates within their booking confirmations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanagalakshmi and her team were confident that candidates would find the online scheduling system simple to navigate. <em>\u201cThe candidates felt they didn&#8217;t have [to do] much,\u201d<\/em> she said. <em>\u201cThey can just book an appointment in three to four clicks. Rather than calling and asking if you are available at this time, booking at their convenience is much easier for them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2021\/04\/text-notifcation.jpg\" alt=\"text notifcation\" class=\"wp-image-6338\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interview reminders&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On average, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zipjob.com\/blog\/how-many-jobs-applications-should-you-be-sending-out\/\">applicants apply for 10 to 15 positions per week.<\/a> Responses come in the form of phones ringing, emails pinging and calendar notifications in inboxes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an interview is booked via Setmore, applicants receive automatic notifications. Kanagalakshmi pushes the value of <strong>automated text reminders <\/strong>for candidates prior to their interviews: <em>\u201cWe [people] will not always remember to check our email but with text reminders when you take out your mobile, it will be there. It was really helpful,<\/em>\u201d Kanagalakshmi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A 50\/50 FULL Creative future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussing FULL Creative\u2019s recruitment strategy, Kanagalakshmi explained a top priority is: \u201c<em>To make our team more diverse because currently the ratio of female to male employees is less<\/em>,\u201d she said. \u201c<em>We want to make it 50 to 50.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe want the women in our company to voice out and shine more.
