This is just the beginning of our Q4 closeout for 2019, read on for full details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Book appointments from your inbox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Use Gmail to message your clients? Now you can book appointments to your Setmore calendar directly from your Gmail dashboard. The new <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/2978737-gmail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Setmore add-on for Gmail<\/a> integrates directly with your email client, and empowers you to respond to appointment requests with just a few clicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/setmore-gmail.png\" alt=\"Booking appointments from an email inbox.\" class=\"wp-image-4472\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With the add-on installed, open any email and click the Setmore button on your right-hand toolbar. The Setmore add-on will automatically extrapolate the information in the customer\u2019s email to pre-fill in the required appointment data, saving you time and filling your calendar faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/marketplace\/app\/setmore_for_gmail\/477202397093\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Get the Setmore add-on for Gmail &gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">24-hour format text reminders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4466\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/24-00.png\" alt=\"Text reminders in 24 hour format.\"><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Setmore now supports standard 24-hour clock format for all <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490963-text-reminders-premium-pro-feature\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">text reminders<\/a> in your Pro or Team account. (Previously, text reminders only supported 12-hour format.) Now, with 24-hour time format selected, an appointment time such as 6:00 pm will show as 18:00 in the customer\u2019s appointment reminder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/bookingpage-custom-24hr.png\" alt=\"Navigation path for custom menu\" class=\"wp-image-4468\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.setmore.com\/settings\/#bookingpage\/booking_page_controls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Booking Page &gt; Customization (opens in a new tab)&#8221;&gt;Settings &gt; Booking Page &gt; Customization<\/a><\/strong>, then use the dropdown menu under Time Format to select 24-hour format for your account.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/24-hour-format.png\" alt=\"The 24 hour format dropdown menu.\" class=\"wp-image-4467\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> 24-hour format is still being developed for times displayed on the admin calendar.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A better way to save customer notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of a broader initiative to overhaul the way <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/491020-customer-notes-stats-and-appointment-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Customer Notes<\/a> work in Setmore, we now offer a Save\/Cancel function anytime you edit your notes! This feature is live for new accounts, with rollout for current Setmore users coming soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anytime you\u2019re editing a note, click \u201cCancel\u201d to undo your changes. Click Save, or click outside the Notes field, to save your changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4469\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/customer-notes-save.png\" alt=\"Customer notes section.\"><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is just the first step to expanded functionality that we\u2019ve been concepting for months, including the ability to create, edit, and save multiple notes per customer profile (think of it like digital sticky notes).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notifications menu overhaul<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re simplifying the way you activate and manage your <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490989-activity-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">in-app notifications<\/a> from Setmore. Changes to our web app will now make it easier to understand which controls determine the activity alerts you see across each of your connected devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4471\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/blog-setmore\/1\/2019\/10\/notifications-menu-update.png\" alt=\"The Activity Stream menu.\"><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar controls are currently in the works for our mobile apps for iOS and Android, all of which are coming soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Squish List: bug fixes and refinements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Account<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fixed an issue that prevented <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/491018-recover-or-change-your-password\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">resetting an account password<\/a>.<\/li><li>Setmore has a fresh new design for the login page located at <a href=\"https:\/\/my.setmore.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Setmore<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>It is now possible to see past appointments for deleted staff members through the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/491014-export-appointment-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Basic Reporting<\/a> tool.<\/li><li>The response time for generating a Basic Report has been improved.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Booking Page<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Debugged an issue that allowed some customers to schedule outside the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/491024-booking-lead-advance-or-cancelation-time\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">scheduling window<\/a> as per account settings.<\/li><li>Resolved an issue on the Booking Page that caused the City\/State field validation to prevent some customers from proceeding to the next step.<\/li><li>The \u201cBook Now\u201d button has been made easier to see for users viewing the Booking Page from a mobile device.<\/li><li>Fixed a spacing issue between the service duration and cost that appeared on the Booking Page for some currencies.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Customer Profiles<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fixed an issue that caused the system to sometimes apply the wrong country code to customer phone numbers.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490978-import-or-export-customer-contacts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Exporting a list of customers<\/a> will now properly send to the account admin email as expected.<\/li><li>Fixed an issue that caused the system to sometimes automatically un-merge a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490905-merge-or-delete-multiple-customers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">merged customer profile<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Integrations<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Debugged an issue that falsely showed the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490943-stream-photos-from-instagram\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Instagram Streaming integration<\/a> as activated for some accounts.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Notifications &amp; Reminders<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The \u201cSend me a reminder\u201d text on the final screen of the Booking Page has been updated for greater clarity.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490989-activity-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Setmore Activity Stream<\/a> will now notify you if edits were applied to your appointments from Google Calendar, if a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/491007-2-way-google-calendar-sync-premium-pro-feature\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">two-way sync<\/a> is activated.<\/li><li>Resolved an issue that caused some <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490963-text-reminders-premium-feature\">text reminders<\/a> for appointments in a recurring series to not be sent.<\/li><li>Fixed an issue that caused some email reminders to be sent for appointments that were previously cancelled.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reviews<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The \u201cReviews\u201d link will no longer be included in automated confirmation emails sent by Setmore, if the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.setmore.com\/en\/articles\/490944-customer-reviews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Customer Reviews<\/a> feature is deactivated.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Stay tuned for future updates!<br>Thank you for reading \ud83d\ude42<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Committed to increased transparency and more responsive community outreach, Setmore will post monthly development updates to showcase some of our work and improvements made over the past 30 days.&nbsp;<\/em><br><em>Have a feature request?
