We’ve been getting requests for a long time to allow double booking from your calendar. We’ve been listening, and finally decided to pull the trigger. You can now add multiple appointments to any time slot. We know it’s taken a while so if you’ve been waiting for double booking, the wait is over 🙂

Your all new Setmore Dashboard gives you an overview of what’s happening this week, with basic stats, activity and a weekly schedule. The weekly schedule brings all of your staff’s schedules together in an up to the minute, streamlined agenda. If you’re a Setmore mobile user this view should look very familiar 🙂

  • Hi,

    I am very thankful for the customized reminders. One thing that would be awesome for my business would be the option to have two different reminders- one for new clients that I could add the address and ask to come 10 mins early and one for regulars just reminding them of the appointment! Hoping that is a possibility one day!

  • The site used to only show the classes that the individual staff member offered. Since this update, all of the classes show up but dates and times do not show unless it is a course that staff member offers. Is there a way to hide the courses not offered by that staff member like it used to be?

    • Hi Brittany – It depends. All classes will appear on your main booking page, but if you share a staff member’s booking page, it will only show classes provided by that staff member. Here’s how you access and share staff booking pages. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks for the updates! I have been wanting an update where we can open time for booking appointments on a specific date that is normally closed. For example, I don’t take appointments on Sundays but once in a while on a specific date, I want to click on that date and “open time”. I don’t want to have to open Sunday in general and do the tedious process of closing all the dates. This is the reverse – closed but open time outside normal hours that clients can see. I know I personally can book into to closed or blocked slots but this would be opening time so client can do it. Thanks.

  • Hi I love the new update, personalised message would be fantastic. Just wanted to know if I was to “push” the message through, would it still automatically send the reminder at the time I’ve set? This is because you don’t have confirmation text yet so I’d like to use it that way u til u perhaps add that feature.
    Also I would love if you have feature that makes it compulsory for clients to leave deposits when making their own appointments online.

  • Thank you for pushing out some updates. I still would love to see an option to showcase which time zone the calendar is in. Even better if it adjust to the users timezone.

    I’ve be looking forward to the Custom SMS for a while.
    I can’t wait until you offer the same for emails – it’s so much easier if we have a reminder of our cancellation policy etc in reminder emails.

    I klnow I have asked a few weeks ago but this is so important for us, also can there be an option to skip the payment with a code/password but still book the class ( for members)

    Thanks for the updates. I am wondering if you are working on the ability to manage recurring appointments from the mobile app (I’d like my clients and myself to be able to cancel those from the app). Also I’d love to be able to post my reviews anonymously for client confidentiality.

  • I love using your scheduler, I’m not quite using as you intend but it works out really well in the field for the many visits I need to make to my properties. I know it’s not intended for the iPad but it still works ok to a useful degree. The export at the end of the week is really useful too. I’ve been looking how to change the colours on the labels but I can’t seem to do it, needing to make no access visits red so that I can easily spot them and re schedule. Thanks and keep up the good work guys.

    • Hi Paul, I would be interested to find out how you use the scheduler out in the field. I am trying to set it up for my sales reps. Are you only using it for yourself or do you allow your clients to make appointments for you? I am trying to set it up for my clients to make appointments for me to go to their homes but I don’t want to be running across town from one appointment to another and then back to the starting point. Looking for any suggestions.

  • Setmore just keeps on getting better with each update (unlike some things which just get more convoluted). The new feature set is great. I’d love the ability for people to enter a voucher code for promos and discounts. Maybe this is already available? Thanks you.

    But the double booking idea was a shocker , I had no idea about the update and ended up in a mess double booking myself with two different clients

    could i suggest that we have a system so that we can only book 1 type of treatments in at the same time ie we have a 1 laser and 2 of us can use it but so we could both be booked out at the same time for laser tattoo removal.
    Also you introduced payment online but its only an option for the patient. We have most of our no shows from people who have booked online so we need to address this by taking a deposit or full payment. Can this be changed?

    • Hi Huw – thanks for the suggestions and feedback. You’re not the first to suggest a way to add multiple providers to a single service, so I think it’s something we will get to in the near future hopefully. In regards to taking payments I’m not exactly sure if this answers your question, but in addition to the patient paying via the booking page you can also have you or your staff pay from the calendar as well. Here’s a how-to article on taking payments with Stripe. Let us know if you need anything else!

  • The SMS you can personalize is a great feature.

    Perhaps a new development could be to allow the facility to enter class members for example sports or dance classes with multiple pupils over several days (a bit like the site supersaas does) and allow the ability to send reminders to pupils. This system could also be uses for schduled meetings with several people.

    I appreciate the positive changes and your customer chat service is really helpful.
