Team Setmore

Our primary objective is to help our uses succeed. This means helping Setmore users bring in new customers, bring more customers back, and help those customers book more appointments online.

Humble beginnings

Setmore started in 2011 as an offshoot of parent company Full Creative, seeking an online scheduling solution to address our customers’ need for an online scheduling solution that worked for non-techie audiences. The biggest challenge of the day was finding an intuitive user interface, since most of the options available looked junky and were hard to navigate.

A perhaps wiser yet less courageous crew might have tried to build off an existing solution, but Setmore was made by intrepid code explorers with fire in their bellies and nothing to lose. We started the app from scratch and, little by little, added new features on a bi-weekly basis. After 5+ years of consistent feature development, expansion, and growth, Setmore has become what it is today and is the preferred online scheduling platform for tens of thousands of users all over the world.

    We’ve pioneered several tools that help our employees communicate and collaborate from miles apart, across state lines, national borders, and oceans. It’s primarily an environmentally-minded ethos, since remote working helps us drastically reduce carbon emissions from both vehicle commutes and facility maintenance (lights, electricity, heating and air conditioning, and so on). Good for our staff, good for the planet.

    Setmore was built using Scrum, which has empowered our teams to work in a more open and adaptive environment. Users benefit from this with instant access to features as we build them, cutting out the long wait times for a new release. Meanwhile our development teams benefit from instant user feedback that guides us towards picking and refining the best features while trimming the fat of unused or unwanted features.

    When you start an in-app chat with our support teams, a Setmore specialist typically replies to your message in less than a minute. We take great pride in our super-fast customer support, and if the flood of positive reviews on Facebook and various tech review sites are any indication, our users love it too.


  • Global community

    Great ideas come from all over. Remote working and Agile has empowered us to engage creative thinkers and collaborate across time zones with zero limitations. Consultants, writers, designers, and developers from places like Brazil, Romania, India, the UK and the US have all contributed a piece to Setmore, and the product is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.


  • Lifelong learning

    Our entire company, from interns to the CEO and everyone in between, dedicates five hours to independent learning per week. We do this enthusiastically, to keep our skills sharp, to keep us in the know, and to inspire ourselves with examples of success from the business and tech world.


2020 and Beyond

Setmore has grown beyond our wildest expectations, in part because we had few expectations to begin with. We were always against the wind, paddling as hard as we could towards our goals, and we’re grateful for the outpouring of engagement that followed from our “quality first” approach. We know that markets are fluid and demand frequent adaptation, and the captains of Setmore are planning ahead, focusing on the next five years, ten years, twenty years, to meet future challenges. Our vision is maturing and our golden age has yet to come.
